CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Seven House Gallery is calling for submissions for “Where We Land,” an exhibition honoring the creative voices of immigrants and children of immigrants that show the life, struggle, and experiences of immigrants across NYC. Submissions for this exhibition are open to a wide range of mediums including photography, zines, stickers, embroidery, textiles, drawings, poetry, memoirs, paintings, and more.

CALL FOR EXHIBITIONS
Catskill Art Space (CAS) will accept applications from artists in all mediums, including and not limited to ceramics, digital, fiber, film/ video, glass, illustration, installations, painting, performance, photography, and sculpture. Exhibiting artists are provided a $1,000 honorarium to underwrite art transit and preparation costs.

MICROGRANT FOR EXHIBITION
The Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art offers a $300 good-faith grant for artists and curators who are realizing a project in the greater Buffalo area. This is no-strings-attached money that an artist or curator can use in whatever way they feel is needed.

EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY
Embracing Our Differences is an exhibit that features 50 billboard-size images, each created by local, national, and international artists. The 2027 exhibition will be displayed mid-January through mid-April at multiple locations in Southwest Florida.

CALL FOR PERFORMERS
Flux Factory is pleased to announce an open call for Dark Matters at Flux IV, Flux Factory’s new exhibition and project space in Hunters Point South. We are calling all performers, sound artists, or musicians in any of the five boroughs (Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island) to submit works responding to the themes of surveillance, anti-surveillance, countersurveillance, and the lived or inherited experience of ‘being watched’.

CALL FOR MURALIST
The Village of Haverstraw, in collaboration with Haverstraw Riverwide Arts, is seeking muralists to submit concepts for a large-scale historical mural commemorating Haverstraw, New York. The total budget for the project is $8,000 for a high-resolution PDF. Additionally, semifinalists will each receive a $500 fee for design development.

GRANT FOR BLACK TRANS WOMEN
The Illuminations Grant for Black Trans Women Visual Artists is an annual $10,000 grant awarded to provide critical support to Black trans women whose work has often been under-recognized in the visual art field.

GRANT FOR ARTIST BOOK
Franklin Furnace‘s XENO Prize for Artists’ Books awards $5,000 to publish one artist’s book on the topic of book banning/burning in an edition of at least 100 copies.

The Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation is excited to announce an open call for the seventh season of Sight/Geist, a series that supports emerging NYC-based film and performance artists. The Foundation is looking for work that advances its mission of art and social justice through performance. The exhibition is scheduled for 2026/27 programming at The 8th Floor, the Foundation’s gallery near Union Square.

Art Ability, a program of Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital in Malvern, PA, is pleased to announce a call for entry for the 31st Annual Exhibit and Sale of artwork by artists with disabilities. Community Leaders Grant is a microgrant given out to New Yorkers by CitizensNYC. CitizensNYC awards microgrants of up to $5,000 to community-building projects carried out by resident-led groups to improve neighborhood life, strengthen local leadership, and scale community partnerships.

RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP
MUUS Collection is an American 20th century photography collection that preserves, researches, and reveals work from the archives it owns and represents. Part of their mission is to transform their archives through new interpretations and scholarship. The MUUS Collection is launching their first MUUS Collection Research Fellowship to invite a curator or academic to spend time in the archives over the course of a year and develop an exhibition or publication concept offering a new perspective.

The Center for Fiction / Susan Kamil Emerging Writer Fellowship program annually provides financial support, professional and creative development, personalized mentorship, and community engagement to nine early-career, New York City-based fiction writers.

Each year AXS Film Fund award up to five creators with grants of up to $10,000 each to assist them in finishing their projects in any stage of production. This program is for creators of color in documentary filmmaking or nonfiction new media who identify as living with a disability.
