EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY
For our 2027 Open Call at Open Source Gallery, we invite applications from artists working in any medium and location, whose practices emphasize experimentation, sustainability, and social engagement. As part of this opportunity, selected artists will receive artist fees based on the W.A.G.E. certification schedule, a production budget, and support from Open Source in the form of planning, production and communications.

EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY
Data Through Design is now accepting submissions for our 2026 exhibition. We invite artists, data professionals, designers, scientists, historians, activists, coders, policy makers, etc. to submit their proposals for creative works to be presented in the DxD exhibition in March of 2026.

SCULPTURE AWARD
The Henry Hering Art and Architecture Award is presented as the occasion warrants for outstanding collaboration between architect, owner, and sculptor in the distinguished use of sculpture in an architectural project.

ARTS GRANT
Community Arts (CA) supports local arts projects and activities that enable Bronx communities to experience and engage with the performing, literary, media, and visual arts.

VISUAL ARTS PRODUCTION GRANT
The VIA Art Fund Artistic Production grants fund the production and exhibition of new artistic commissions, in amounts ranging between $25,000 – $100,000. Often exhibited beyond museum walls in public space, these projects feature high levels of thought leadership, artistic production, and public engagement

ARTIST FELLOWSHIP
Established in 1993, the A.I.R. Fellowship Program for Emerging and Underrepresented Women and Non-Binary Artists has enabled more than 120 artists to realize their first solo exhibition in New York City with the support of the A.I.R. community. The Fellowship Program annually awards six local emerging artists with their first solo exhibition, professional development programming, curatorial support, and mentorship during a 12-month fellowship that runs September–August.

PERFORMING ARTIST GRANT
The Creative Equations Fund (CEF) is an investment strategy dedicated to arts for social justice. Inspired by artists’ work, peer-funded models, as well as a grassroots legacy of intersectional community empowerment, this initiative is driven by our values around justice, equity, and sustainability.

WOMEN ENTREPRENEUR GRANT
The Charlene Victor & Ella J. Weiss Cultural Entrepreneur Fund will be given to individual women artists and arts administrators whose primary mission is to provide arts and cultural programs at the community level, that are responsive to their constituency, with a history of service to Brooklyn.

ARTIST GRANT
Designed with nonprofit organizations and artist-nonprofit partnerships in mind, the Brooklyn Arts Council Local Arts Support Grant helps develop high-quality local arts projects and programs that focus on community engagement.

EMERGING ARTIST AWARD
The Access/VSA Emerging Young Artists Program, a Jean Kennedy Smith Arts and Disability Program, showcases the work of visual artists with disabilities, ages 16-25, who reside in the United States.

SCREENWRITER/DIRECTOR AWARD
PILLARS Artist Fellowship program is designed to support screenwriters and directors committed to working in and alongside Muslim communities, providing them with the mentorship, industry connections, and financial support to help advance their careers.

IDEAS PRIZE
The David Prize is a celebration of New Yorkers with ideas for extraordinary change. New York City’s best and biggest resource is its people and New Yorkers who are proximate to the City’s greatest challenges will build the best solutions. Open to any individual working in the five boroughs, the Prize welcomes those with the vision and conviction to change our communities, our culture, and our future for good.

ARTS FUND GRANT
The Arts Access Grant supports community-based organizations and collectives in their efforts to produce public arts and cultural programs in all artistic disciplines that bolster the cultural vibrancy of the Queens communities and neighborhoods where they are located and operate. Applicants may submit grant requests ranging from $2,500 to $5,000.

EMERGING WRITERS AWARD
The PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers recognizes 12 emerging writers each year for their debut short story published in a literary magazine, journal, or cultural website, and aims to support the launch of their careers as fiction writers.
