Spring Workshop Series with New Renaissance Arts Center

This workshop introduces participants to the foundations of visual poetry through sound-based exercises and collaborative experimentation. Together, we will create a Happening—an event-based performance that unfolds in real time and cannot be replicated, as it responds to the specific audience, space, and moment in which it occurs.

Inspired by the spirit of Fluxus, this Happening invites participants to deconstruct and reimagine traditional approaches to poetry-making. Through playful disruption and collective creation, we will explore new ways of thinking about language, sound, and performance.

The workshop space itself will be transformed into an immersive installation. Sound and video elements related to Fluxus will shape the environment, so that entering the room feels like stepping into an exhibition—while simultaneously becoming part of it.

No prior experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Suggested donation welcome!
