Residency Partnership Program

Are you a non-profit or collective seeking space to host workshops, exhibitions, or public programs? Our Residency Partnership Program provides free, short-term studio or gallery space at Rockella, plus promotional support. In exchange, we ask for professional documentation and collaboration to highlight your work and share knowledge that strengthens our creative community.

How The Program Works

The Residency Partnership Program is designed for arts-focused non-profits, collectives, and community organizations seeking temporary space to host workshops, exhibitions, and public programs. By offering free, short-term studio or gallery space within Rockella’s buildings, RRASP provides partners the opportunity to test new ideas, expand their reach, and engage with diverse creative communities in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.

In addition to space, RRASP supports Residency Partners with marketing outreach through our newsletter, social media platforms, and on-site signage. We ask that all partners provide professional documentation of their programming and acknowledge RRASP and Rockella Space as supporters across all promotional materials.

Collaboration That Sparks Growth

This program is structured as a true exchange: while we provide a platform and physical resources, we also seek to learn from our partners’ expertise.

Many Residency Partners bring valuable knowledge in areas such as non-profit leadership, grant writing, fundraising, and community engagement—insights that strengthen our own programs and benefit the broader Rockella/RRASP ecosystem.

The Residency Partnership Program is ideal for organizations looking for a temporary home to activate meaningful programming, and for those committed to collaboration, transparency, and knowledge-sharing. Together, we can create spaces that empower both artists and audiences while building sustainable models of support in the arts.
